Claim Your Profile
Claiming a profile verifies your connection to it and establishes you as a trusted point of contact. Once claimed, a checkmark appears next to the profile name, letting others know it's been verified.
Claiming also means our data team knows who to reach out to with questions, and that any edit requests you submit carry more weight — because they're coming from the source.
Who can claim a profile?
Claims are available on artist, company, and person profiles. We typically approve claims from:
The artists themselves
Their management team
A legal representative
If someone else requests a claim on an artist profile — for example, a label rep — and the artist already has a manager, we'll ask them to connect us with the management team first.
How to claim a profile
Go to the profile you'd like to claim.
Click the Claim button on the right side of the profile, next to the update icon.
You'll be guided through a few quick questions in the chat.
Our team will review the request and follow up to verify your connection to the profile.
Once approved, the profile will display a verified checkmark.
If the profile is already claimed
If someone has already claimed a profile, the Claim button won't be visible. If you believe you should also be a claimant, click the update button (the icon next to where the Claim button would normally appear) and let us know through the chat.
